Liner Notes

This illustration was created to advertise a podcast channel whose content focuses on the Canadian retro music scene. Red and white features prominently as an homage to Canada’s national colours with the overall theme being that of an old LP that was dragged out of storage (complete with duct tape mending). The tagline text almost has a “punk” album feel to it so as to give it the whole image the retro vibe so integral to the show. Finally, a maple leaf was added to reinforce the broadcast’s Canadian content and meet with the station’s colour scheme.
