Roadside Attraction

A friend of mine sent me a picture of herself holding a can of industrial lubricant to the sky like some triumphant super-heroine after she found it in the clutter of her purse. Naturally, I was immediately inspired to do something with the image and this is what came of it: a surreal montage featuring her and her beloved travel vehicle known as the “Murder Van” (that is a whole other story) on a lone highway as a tribute to her want and habit of adventure. She is an offbeat and mischievous soul and so, nothing less than something that spoke to her character would do, hence the octopus. How did I come up with it? I think she’d be better able to tell you than me.
